Kanteantlo Furis

Legend has it that...
At Kantem Loutolim, near the "Wad" butchers used to slaughter cattle and it was said that from the open field at night you could see someone or torches of fire moving up to the place of slaughter and walking through the water path. People would get scared to pass by. The butchers were asked to stop the slaughter and later a cross was built. The fire torches stopped moving around. Today the cross is slightly transferred from its original place. Here you will find Hindus and Catholics alike lighting candles and praying at it.

As told by Mariano Felipe Souza.
